The ministry amongst children at All Saints’ Church in Marple is known as Kids’ Church.
We believe the development and growth of any child is the responsibility of the parent. However, we know parenthood can be a daunting task so we are here to help and support you in that area of your life.
We want to help you fill your family’s life with joy and we want to help you fulfil your child’s potential by creating a fun and exciting environment for them.
Kids’ Church is children learning about God by discovering Him around them, among them and in them; discovering His gifts in their lives; and ministering to each other, to the church, and to their neighbours in His name. We have lots of fun activities for children of all ages.
We have 4 groups at 10:15am on Sunday mornings covering the primary school ages as well as younger children and babies. The children and their families join with the main body of the church for a short period of worship before moving to their age-specific groups.
Gems is the group for our under 3s. This lovely group use activities to help the children learn about God’s love for them and those around them.
Scramblers is the name of the group caring for 3-5 year olds. The group have lots of lively free play as well as craft and story times. It is always a pleasure to visit them and see the smiles on the faces of the children.
Climbers is for 5-7 year old children (school children years 1 and 2). This group meets for worship, teaching and games.
Explorers is for children aged between 8 and 11 (school children years 3 to 6). The group join in with the Climbers’ children for worship, teaching and games. We all have lots and lots of fun.
